Bevan Patient Participation Group
A pro-active group of patients who are registered at Bevan Group Practice. The aim is to represent patients’ views, improve two-way communication between patients and the Practice and help to shape better services around the needs of patients and carers.
We are associate members of N.A.P.P. (National Association for Patient Participation)
The purpose of the PPG is:
-
- To give patients and service staff the opportunity to meet and discuss topics of mutual interest.
-
- To provide a way for patients to become more involved and make suggestions about healthcare services they receive.
-
- To explore issues from patient complaints and patient surveys, contribute to action plans and help monitor service improvements.
-
- To review existing service feedback.
-
- To support health awareness and wider patient education.
The group meets once a month, for an hour, to discuss patient comments and feedback with members of staff.
