How do I?

Register as a patient

Patients are required to register with a specific GP. This is so we can offer a familiar service to all when possible. You may register with the surgery if you live within a WA8 postcode. To register please come into the practice to pick up the registration forms.

Make an appointment

Routing appointments can either be booked from 8am via the telephone, using the online services or made in person at the surgery.

The practice also offers emergencies appointments each day that can be booked from 8am each morning, however you may not see the GP of your choice,

Repeat prescriptions

Prescriptions can be requested either in person,  via the online service or posted to the practice.  The practice does not allow prescription requests to be taken over the telephone.

Please allow 48 hours for your prescription to be processed. This does not include weekends.

Obtain results

When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Please bear this in mind and call the surgery between 9am – 2.30pm once sufficient time has elapsed.

Our staff are not qualified to comment on results therefore it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
